Who On Earth is This Skye Person Anyway?

- I am a 2008 Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge Festival Poet, Director of the Delaware Valley Poetry Festival, Founder of People's Poetry @ the Rat, a visiting poet/writer in schools and colleges, a featured poet and writer at readings around the NYC/Philadelphia areas and workshop teacher. In addition I do readings and lecture on healing from domestic violence through the writing arts - finding one's own voice. I mentor writers one-on-one in craft, as a writing coach and editing manuscripts.I hold private craft classes in poetry and creative non-fiction and am also working in the field of freelance photojournalism to convey some stories without using a single word. Finally I am an accomplished singer/songwriter and perform with my guitar in venues and festivals including First Fridays Frenchtown, Bastille Fete, Bikes & Bluegrass Weekend, Martins on Main and at the National Hotel, Frenchtown, NJ. Besides my own songs, I cover Springsteen, CS&N, Dylan and others.
